Engine Options

Several engines are available for the 2026 Ford Super Duty models. The base engine is a 6.8-liter V8 powerplant that produces 400 horsepower and 445 lb-ft of torque. Next up is a 7.3-liter V8 engine that generates 485 lb-ft of torque and 430 horsepower. Two versions of a diesel 6.7-liter V8 engine are also offered. Low-output diesel engines deliver 475 horsepower and 1,050 lb-ft of torque while high-output variants crank out 500 horsepower and 1,200 lb-ft of torque.

Towing and Payload Ratings

How much a 2026 Ford Super Duty can tow and haul depends on various factors, such as the model and engine you choose. With the right equipment, the Ford F-250 can tow up to 22,000 lbs and haul as much as 4,246 lbs. As impressive as those numbers are, the Ford F-350 and Ford F-450 take things up more than a notch or two.

With a bumper-mounted hitch, the Ford F-350 can tow as much as 28,000 lbs. If you swap that hitch for a gooseneck trailer hitch, the truck’s tow rating increases to 38,000 lbs. The Ford F-450 can tow up to 30,000 lbs with a traditional hitch or 40,000 lbs with a gooseneck trailer hitch. Both the Ford F-350 and the Ford F-450 can handle up to 8,000 lbs of payload.

An eight-inch infotainment touchscreen is standard, but higher trims get a 12-inch unit that’s compatible with Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ connectivity. A reconfigurable 12-inch digital gauge display is available as a convenient option. An eight-speaker Bang & Olufsen® stereo is standard, but an 18-speaker setup is optional.
